Depigment

Question: I have Melasma, can I use Depigment?

Answer: Yes you can use Depigment. You must be aware that treatment can take time as Melasma can be tough to cure. Spots fade even slower if exposed to sunlight. If you do not protect yourself from the sun, the spots will come back year after year. You should always use sun protection with the highest factor and protection. Avoid sunbathing. Consider that solarium use promotes spots. If one is careful for many years, the tendency will reduce year after year. As a result one can gradually reduce the strength of sun protection creams used.
Question: My skin is red and irritated after I have used Depigment what shall I do?

Answer: This is a somewhat normal reaction which means that the skin is finding it a little difficult to adjust and should rest a little. Allow your skin to rest a couple of days before you continue treatment.
Question: Can I use Depigment on my face?

Answer: Yes but avoid contact with your eyes.
Question: Can one use the cream when one sunbathes?

Answer: Yes, but the effect of the cream disappears so you should use the cream before and after sunbathing.
Question: I have used Depigment for three weeks now but my pigment discolourations have become darker.

Answer: Within the first three weeks it is natural for pigment changes to take place. These disappear after 4 weeks at the same time one should notice large improvements in the problem area. For the best results, it is best to use Depigment for two months.
